                            About the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea Team&lt;\/strong&gt; The Gulf of Aden and Red Sea (GARS) team of the GMCP operates from the Regional Office for Eastern Africa (ROEA) in Nairobi. The team works extensively with states in the region, offering support in combating maritime crime. Their initiatives span Somalia, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Uganda, addressing key issues and enhancing regional capacities to counter maritime threats effectively.&lt;\/p&gt;\n\n\n\n
