Job Title:<\/strong> Marketing and Communications Intern<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports to<\/strong>: Marketing and Communications Executive<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terms:<\/strong> 6 Months Internship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Requirements:<\/strong> Moderate travel and Occassion weekend activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Purpose:<\/strong> The internship program offers a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on work experience, expand their knowledge, refine career goals, and build a professional network with mentors. As a Marketing intern, you will actively support various initiatives, participating in the planning and execution of both digital and offline marketing activities and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Duties\/Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Collaborate in creating compelling and engaging content across diverse platforms, such as social media, websites, email marketing, newsletters, and print materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Monitor social media channels, bring attention to inquiries, and analyze performance metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Contribute to the planning and execution of events, both online and offline, aimed at promoting KeNIC\u2019s products.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Support team to plan, develop and execute marketing initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Support projects related to branding, content creation and social media marketing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Draft and edit internal and external communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Handle inbound requests from vendors and partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for communication materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Monitor trends, feedback and satisfaction levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance KeNIC\u2019s standing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Prepare proposals and reports as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    10. Write and publish articles, blog posts, and press releases<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    11. Produce creative, high-quality short-form video content for TikTok weekly, showcasing .KE success stories, brand awareness, and promotional campaigns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    12. Other responsibilities as may be assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Education and Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. A final-year student or recent graduate holding a degree in Marketing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Proficient in the WordPress platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Basic digital marketing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite for creating marketing copy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Desired skills include a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the Canva design platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Proficient in Mailchimp for email automation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
