         As an

          IT Intern&lt;\/strong&gt; at The Nairobi Women\u2019s Hospital, you will play a key role in supporting the hospital\u2019s IT infrastructure, digital systems, and internal communication platforms. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various facets of IT operations within a healthcare setting. You\u2019ll work closely with IT professionals and various departments, providing support that ensures smooth digital operations across the hospital.&lt;\/p&gt;\n\n\n\n
          <p>
           Your key responsibilities will include:&lt;\/p&gt;\n\n\n\n
           <h4 class='\"wp-block-heading\"'>
            <strong>
             1. Technical Support&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h4&gt;\n\n\n\n
             <ul class='\"wp-block-list\"'>
              \n
              <li>
               Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related hardware and software issues reported by users across departments.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
               <li>
                Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                <li>
                 Provide first-line support for IT service requests including password resets, account issues, and application errors.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n\n\n\n

                   2. IT Systems Maintenance&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h4&gt;\n\n\n\n
                   <ul class='\"wp-block-list\"'>
                    \n
                    <li>
                     Assist in monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure reliability and efficiency.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                     <li>
                      Support system updates and patches under the guidance of the IT team.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                      <li>
                       Participate in documentation of IT processes and maintenance logs.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n\n\n\n

                         3. Digital Transformation Support&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h4&gt;\n\n\n\n

                           Provide support to ongoing digital transformation projects including system upgrades and new software implementations.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                           <li>
                            Assist in testing and deployment of new digital tools and platforms used in patient care, administration, and communication.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                            <li>
                             Participate in staff training sessions on newly implemented systems where necessary.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n\n\n\n

                               4. Data Backup and Security&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h4&gt;\n\n\n\n

                                 Support the IT team in implementing data backup strategies and ensuring data integrity.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                                 <li>
                                  Participate in the enforcement of IT policies including safe internet usage, antivirus protocols, and secure data handling.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n
                                  <li>
                                   Help monitor IT security alerts and contribute to awareness campaigns on digital safety.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n\n\n\n

                                     5. Communication and User Engagement&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/h4&gt;\n\n\n\n

                                       Act as a liaison between the IT department and staff to ensure timely support and resolution of technical concerns.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n

                                        Maintain a customer-focused attitude when responding to support requests.&lt;\/li&gt;\n\n\n\n

                                         Provide input for improving user experience on digital platforms within the hospital.&lt;\/li&gt;\n&lt;\/ul&gt;\n\n\n\n
