Internship Positions Available
1. General Interns – (11 Positions)
Job Description:
- Support various County departments with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
- Assist in implementing departmental projects and programs.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Offer support in public service delivery and engagement activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors that align with their area of study.
Remuneration: 20,000 KES per month.
Program Objective: The Murang’a County Government Internship Program seeks to:
- Provide young professionals with practical skills to enhance their future job prospects.
- Offer real workplace experience within a professional environment.
- Foster professional growth through mentorship and hands-on involvement in County activities.
- Create networking opportunities to help interns build valuable connections for their careers.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Kenyan citizen aged 45 years or younger.
- Hold a degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
- Have completed their degree within the last 24 months.
- Be unemployed and not previously exposed to similar internship opportunities or related work experience.
- Have no formal employment history.
Note: Applications must be supported by relevant university or college records, certificates, or transcripts.
Terms of Service
- The internship program will last twelve (12) months .
- Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 20,000 KES.
- Completion of the program does not guarantee employment with the County Government.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Interns are expected to adhere to the program’s objectives to maximize their professional development.
