Position Overview
The Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) program is designed to offer recent graduates hands-on experience in warehouse operations and operational excellence. Trainees will rotate across various departments within the operations division to develop a deep understanding of systems, processes, and performance improvement programs.
Trainees will support Operational Excellence initiatives, including:
- Health & Safety
- Environment & Sustainability
- Quality & Regulatory Assurance
- Project Delivery
- Continuous Improvement
- Accelerated Digitalization
Key Responsibilities
General Accountabilities
- Understand and adhere to clients’ service requirements.
- Utilize standardized operational tools and processes.
- Collect, record, and report non-conformities related to customer merchandise.
- Work across designated operational areas as per management needs.
- Follow all operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Support project implementation involving standardization, environment, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct best practice research and contribute to team development and training.
- Foster effective communication across departments.
- Support safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.

- Ensure proper handling and safe use of assigned equipment (e.g., laptops, desktops).
- Contribute to development and delivery of innovative solutions.
- Promote accident-free work culture and ensure timely issue escalation.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a business-related field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili (both spoken and written).
