The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is offering an internship opportunity for the position of Knowledge Management and Communications Intern, based in Nairobi. This six-month, full-time internship is designed for individuals interested in supporting UNEP’s efforts in environmental knowledge dissemination and communication strategies.​

Interns will assist in the development and implementation of knowledge management systems, contribute to the creation of communication materials, and support the organization of events and workshops. Responsibilities include drafting content for various platforms, maintaining databases, and collaborating with different teams to ensure effective information sharing.​

Applicants should be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate or final-year undergraduate program in fields such as communications, environmental studies, or related disciplines. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in standard software applications, and a keen interest in environmental issues are essential. Fluency in English is required.​

Please note that this internship is unpaid, and interns are responsible for their travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses.
