Job Description
As a Programme Management Support Intern , you will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of UN-Habitat programmes and projects. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of programme management within a United Nations agency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Coordination : Assist in organizing and coordinating project meetings, workshops, and events.
- Monitoring & Reporting : Support in tracking programme progress, preparing status updates, and contributing to internal and external reports.
- Documentation : Help draft briefing notes, concept papers, and minutes of meetings.
- Data Analysis : Contribute to the collection and analysis of programme data to support planning and evaluation.
- Research Support : Conduct background research on urban development issues, trends, and best practices relevant to UN-Habitat’s work.
- Administrative Tasks : Provide general administrative support, including document management and communication coordination with stakeholders.
