Youth unemployment is a key contributor to the challenges currently facing the young people in the country and Murang’a County in particular.
To address this unique challenge affecting the youth in Murang’a County, the county government has initiated the Murang’a County Youth Service (MYS) program that intends to offer temporary employment and targeted short courses to the youth in Murang’a County for a period of three Months.
After the employment and short courses training, successful youths will be issued with a grant as capital for self-employment.
