The role is based on supporting the intuitive sales, marketing, and business development processes at The Odyssey Studios. The position’s primary responsibility will be to collaborate with our team to improve the sale of our services and products in Kenya. The sales function will include pitching, sales support, explaining the intuitive value proposition of our products to our potential clients, demonstrating our products, and helping with sales opportunities, as well as supporting our partners with their marketing campaigns
Responsibilities
- Network and build relationships while leveraging an outgoing personality and creative mindset to develop new business opportunities to uncover new business opportunities in multimedia and digital media.
- Leverage strong organizational skills to manage client interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups infused with innovative ideas.
- Research potential clients and industry trends while keeping the CRM updated with all relevant activities to drive engagement.
- Collaborate on the creation of engaging marketing materials—web content, brochures, blogs—that reflect our creative storytelling.
- Follow up on sales opportunities through dynamic communication, utilizing in-person meetings and creative proposals that capture interest.
- Craft compelling verbal and written communications, producing reports and proposals that showcase our unique value and creative insights.
- Contribute inventive ideas in sales meetings and partner reviews, monitoring action items to enhance performance and client satisfaction.
- Identify and connect with potential clients, scheduling meetings to creatively pitch our multimedia production services.
- Conduct weekly meetings with management to discuss some of our wins in sales and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- A relevant four-year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management Degree is advantageous but not essential
- A background in creative fields is also a plus.
Knowledge / Skills
- High-level of computer literacy with a solid command of Microsoft Office suite, and for this role CRM skills
- Front runner that takes responsibility and is interested in growing their skillset in the sales and marketing space
- Prior and proven experience in generating sales is advantageous; while showcasing an ability to creatively engage and persuade clients.
- Thrives working within strict timelines and in ‘high-pressure’ environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a creative mindset to approach challenges uniquely.

Paid allowance for this position is Ksh. 20,000 a month.
