Position Summary
The CCPA Graduate Intern will play a critical role in supporting the company’s communications and public affairs strategies. The selected candidate will work closely with the CCPA team and other cross-functional departments to ensure seamless implementation of communication plans, Creating Shared Value (CSV) initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Through this internship, the successful candidate will be immersed in an enriching corporate culture that fosters creativity, leadership development, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
The CCPA Graduate Intern will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities to ensure effective execution of Nestlé’s communications and public affairs agenda. These include, but are not limited to:
1. Corporate Communications and Digital Media Support
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders across departments such as Brands, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technical units to deliver digital media support.
- Provide support in managing the company’s digital presence including content creation for social media and internal platforms.
- Assist in drafting press releases, articles, newsletters, and communication materials tailored to target audiences.
2. Media Monitoring and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct daily monitoring of traditional and digital media to track Nestlé’s presence and coverage.
- Analyze media activities of competitors and present insights to relevant business units for strategic decision-making.
3. Creating Shared Value (CSV) Initiatives
- Support the planning and execution of CSV initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure that all CSV activities align with the company’s strategic objectives and brand image.
- Assist in the documentation and internal/external communication of CSV progress and milestones.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in managing communication with internal and external stakeholders to promote transparency and awareness of ongoing initiatives.
- Support in organizing stakeholder engagement events including factory visits, community outreach activities, and townhall meetings.
5. Internal Communications
- Coordinate internal communication efforts such as employee announcements, intranet updates, and corporate bulletins.
- Contribute to the organization of employee engagement activities, promoting a positive work culture and openness.
6. Regulatory and Policy Monitoring
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and policy changes relevant to the business.
- Prepare summaries and briefings for the management team on regulatory updates and their potential impact.
7. Event Planning and Coordination
- Provide logistical and administrative support for planning and hosting corporate events.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other service providers to ensure successful execution of events.
8. Reporting and Administrative Duties
- Assist in compiling regular reports and presentations that track communications activities and results.
- Manage administrative tasks related to payments, document filing, and project support within the CCPA team.
- Handle other duties as assigned to support the corporate affairs function.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and demonstrate the required competencies:
Academic Qualifications
- A Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations/Affairs, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Technical and Professional Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with digital communication tools.
- Basic understanding of media and public relations practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills and Personal Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and ability to produce engaging content.
- High level of initiative, self-drive, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
- A positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and business needs.

Desirable (but not mandatory)
- Previous experience in a PR or communications role through internship, attachment, or volunteer work.
