Dear Applicant,
We are excited that you are applying for the 2jiajiri Programme. Before completing the application form, please read the information below carefully.
KCB Foundation in partnership with Busia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Homabay, Kericho, Nyeri, Nandi, Siaya & Tharaka Nithi counties is offering scholarships at Grade 3 Level for vocational training courses, at the listed vocational centres. The deadline of the application February 2025. Interviews will take place between 24th-28th February 2025 at the vocational centres.
Scholarship Selection Criteria
Eligibility: To qualify for the skills and enterprise development scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the criteria below:
- Be a resident of the listed counties.
- Be willing to undertake the training at any of the listed training Institutes.
- Have a National Identity Card
- Be able to read and write in Kiswahili and/or English
- Commit to attend all training sessions including industrial placement in their city/town of residence.
- Be within one of the three categories (Skiller, Apprentice, Business Owner)
Instructions
- Fill out the application form as clearly and as completely as possible.
- Only complete applications will be considered and admission into the programme is based on a competitive selection process.
- Once completed, download the form and present it during the interview. (After submitting your responses select “save my responses”. after saving, you can open the filed form and download the form for printing)
- During the interview, candidates will be expected to come with completed application forms with passport size photo attached together with copies of National Identity card and certificate of their highest academic qualification.
- The candidates will also be expected to present originals of the above documents. Failure to produce these documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
