Cytonn Asset Managers Limited (CAML) is a regulated Fund Manager by the Capital Markets Authority and the Retirement Benefits Authority. The company is also a licensed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Manager under the Capital Markets Authority. As part of our commitment to training and developing young professionals, we are looking for dynamic and hardworking individuals with strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills to join our Finance Internship Program under the Cytonn Young Leaders Program (CYLP) . This rigorous 3-month (12-week) training program will equip participants with practical and competitive skills in finance and accounting, with a possibility of an employment offer upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and posting invoices and payments.
- Keeping records and filing transactions and relevant documentation.
- Assisting in daily, weekly, and monthly treasury operations while tracking key treasury operational benchmarks.
- Documenting the accounting process to capture transactions and ensure proper reporting.
- Preparing and maintaining books of accounts, including assisting with month-end closing processes and general journal entries.
- Ensuring compliance with taxation and financial statutory requirements, including filing and payment of SHA, PAYE, NSSF, HELB, VAT, and WHT , among others.
- Assisting internal and external auditors by providing financial information as required.
- Assisting in financial reporting and providing analysis for management accounts.
- Reconciling intercompany balances between different entities within the company.
- Performing other duties as assigned from time to time.
Learning & Development Opportunities
Upon joining, successful candidates will undergo an intensive departmental and company-wide orientation.
Training will cover:
- Fundamentals of financial statement analysis
- Financial modeling and accounting processes
- Data recording and analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting
By the end of the 12-week training , interns will be capable of managing full accounting cycles, conducting financial modeling, and performing data-driven financial reporting.
