The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is dedicated to promoting sustainable urban development and ensuring adequate shelter for all. As part of our mission, we facilitate global discussions, meetings, and conferences to drive impactful policies and initiatives. To support this, we are seeking a dynamic Intern – Meeting Services to join our team in Nairobi.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-level international meetings, logistical coordination, and diplomatic engagements. The selected intern will assist in organizing, coordinating, and managing meetings, conferences, and events hosted by UN-Habitat. They will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insight into global governance, urban policy, and international relations.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas, compiling relevant documents, coordinating with stakeholders, supporting virtual and in-person event logistics, and drafting reports and summaries. The intern will also contribute to enhancing meeting efficiency through innovative solutions and digital tools.
This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in international diplomacy, urban development, and organizational coordination. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
